Bruce Cooper
This Navy veteran spends his days as a NJ State Human Services Police officer for the last 17 years where he has enjoyed specifically working with children and mentoring juveniles who have had challenges and obstacles in their lives. Being a Management Science graduate from Kean University Bruce realizes that strong leadership in our communities is what we need moving forward in education and our society. Bruce also believes that leadership starts early in a child’s education.
Bruce is a recent recipient of 2017 Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc, Cumberland County Chapter’s Educator of the year recipient who is currently working on his first non-fictional book on the effects of engaged education in restoring communities to greatness. Bruce is also a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc and Toastmasters International- a speaking and leadership group which Bruce believes public speaking and leadership are also keys to the success of progressive communities. He is married with four daughters and a member of the Cornerstone Community Church in Millville. Bruce's favorite quote is, "Be the change you wish to see in the world" by Mahatma Ghandi.
